When trying to play football in college, creating a highlight film in high school is crucial to being recruited. This is my highlight that I created to be recruited for college. Athletes have various ways of being recruited, however this is a prime way to do so.
THE PLAYBOOK
The playbook is crucial to a player's development. This was the biggest difference between high school and college football, learning plays and concepts as opposed to chasing the ball. Doing your job, and trusting your teammates to come through. This was a valuable lesson, and is still applicable today. Once person can't do everything by themselves, it takes a network of trust-based people.
This is a video of Tim Tebow in the 2007-2008 football season when he played for the University of Florida. UF had just lost to Ole Miss, who ruined the Gator's goal of a perfect season. Tebow goes into the interview and makes a promise to his teammates, coaches, and fans that they will win the rest of the season and that Tebow personally guarantees nobody will out work him. This was a trait that I always admired in my former teammates and was a crucial part of my game, hard work. This simple concept can get people quite far in life even if they possess minimal skill. All people of different populations can always take a note or two from Tim Tebow about hard work.
